This week, The Devil Wears Prada
Today on Friday at the Movies, Sean Curnan digs into The Devil Wears Prada 2, a sequel that puts fashion and art on the front lines. Meryl Streep reprises her iconic role as Miranda Priestly-still commanding, but with newfound vulnerability as Runway Magazine faces a crisis. Anne Hathaway returns as Andy Sachs, now a sharp journalist pulled in to rescue both magazine and meaning. The film shifts its focus from haute couture drama to a battle against tech and finance forces that threaten to strip art of its soul.
